Voluntary seismic strengthening to ASCE-31 standards for a local historic building. Strengthening measures included roof diaphragm replacement, plaster ceiling bracing, and fiber wrapped concrete shear walls. All work was done on the roof, in the attic, and outside the building to preserve extensive built-in furniture and bookcases.
