IDA has completed multiple projects over the last 20 years on this High School Campus in Oakland, including a Science Building, Library, and most recently a new History and World Languages Building.
The school is located in a narrow canyon, immediately adjacent to the Hayward Fault. IDA worked with the Architect to devise simple and efficient structural systems to accommodate the large seismic forces expected.
