New office, shop building, and retrofit for the water district.
Design of a new two-story 9,673 square foot office building; seismic upgrade of the existing maintenance building originally constructed circa 1972, and seismically upgraded circa 2007; and design of a new separate 1,290 square foot shop building. IDA completed a high-level hazard assessment for the District for a new building located in mapped tsunami design zone to facilitate strategic resilience planning, informing siting, elevation, architectural planning, inundation depth, and flow velocity. This evaluation included considerations for hydrodynamic and hydrostatic loads, debris impact loads, and foundation stability.
