The structure is a 4-story wood frame over 1-story post-tensioned podium.

This tight urban site is situated between Uptown and Old Oakland and is seen as key to the revitalization of the neighborhood. The building includes a community room and inviting outdoor roof terrace as well as support services for the low-income residents.These residents are individuals that were homeless and individuals with HIV/AIDS.

Including many green elements in the design and function of the building, Resources for Community Development (RCD) is pursuing Green Point Rated Certification for the project.
