Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) and the Native American Health Center (NAHC) worked together on this affordable housing development, providing 76 affordable units and 13,000 square feet of clinic space, in Oakland.
The structure is 4 stories of Type V over a one-story cast-in-place concrete podium. The first floor brings the neighborhood a cultural center and a commercial space intended for a pharmacy. Honoring Native American culture, the units have great natural light and the roof includes a roof deck with the roof contour based on the shape of an eagle in flight.
