The existing hops processing plant was creatively adapted into classrooms for this West Oakland charter school. A new pre-engineered metal building with multi-purpose space and classrooms was added to the campus.

This Design-Build project with Pankow was a bold endeavour for the Academy and the neighborhood. It provides space for 350 students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade and is located near affordable housing for more than 700. Bridge Housing was a partner in this development, including the development and revitalization of the area’s low-income housing.
