A new one-story, 8,000 square foot sustainable teaching and research facility that includes ten modular spaces for equipment with flexibility in the design to continually incorporate the latest in technology and teaching tools.
This $4 million new structure will “enable the adjacent winery, brewery and food-processing complex to become the first self-sustainable, zero-carbon teaching and research facility in the world” according to the UC Davis College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
It is the first Net Zero Energy building at any university.
