Seismic retrofit and renovation of an existing three building (4-, 6- and 13-story) 255-unit senior affordable housing property located in the Fillmore District of San Francisco.
El Bethel Arms is a HUD senior housing property built in the early 1970s. In addition to the 255 residential units, there are three commercial spaces along Fillmore St. The property’s office space, program space, and interior common spaces are on the ground floor of all three buildings. The entire site is approximately 1.5 acres. Work consists of additions both outside and inside the buildings as well as a seismic rehabilitation to meet lender defined PML goals.
