New 7,500 square foot single story structure which includes four pre‐school classrooms with the capacity to house 108 children, for Oakland Unified School District.
Each classroom is served by restrooms and teacher storage rooms. The project includes the CDC Principal’s office, support admin space, staff workroom, conference room, parent resource room, a kitchen, staff restrooms, custodial room, utility room, and playground equipment storage. The design maximizes the use of natural lighting in the building. Site improvements include play surfaces, play structures, artificial turf field, gardens, bioretention and landscaping.
